<p>You know that Stanford doesn’t include freshman grades in the GPA calculation, right?</p>

<p>I think your entrepreneurship will be appealing, especially if you’ve got something interesting to say as a result of your experiences. Letters from a stanford prof and alums isn’t going to mean anything unless they are talking about what you did as part of their start-ups and why you are exceptionally talented. ‘Friend of the family’ letters are pretty useless.</p>

<p>Overall, you look like lots of other highly qualified candidates so give it your best shot.</p>
