<p>CHANCE ME PLEASE: NYU STERN
Some questions at the end</p>
<p>I go to a school thats not very competitive, does not rank, and opened only 3 years ago. I will be the 3rd graduating class of 2008. probably top 5% to 10%. There arent many AP classes as well. I know my chances are slim, but just asking for advice.
Background: came to the US at age 8. no APs, but taking one in senior year. [theres only two AP classes in my school]. Self studying senior year to take ap calc bc and statictics/micro/macro</p>

SAT2; didnt take yet, will take in October. assuming that i get these scores.

<p>Summer junior year: oxford business [some volunteer thing that needs interview and all that to get into their program]
Merrill Lynch philanthrophy program [30 out of several thousands in the U.S. and London, a program where you travel outside to meet with the CEOs of various companies, will this give me a boost for stern?]

<p>How are my chances at NYU stern? </p>
<p>Should I retake my SATs in November and not apply early decision for NYU stern? Or should I apply early decision with a 1860 ?
Note:
I cant take SATs in nov because I signed up for SAT2s in October.</p>
<p>Lets say I retake my SATs in November and score a 2000 +, would that put me in the range of applicants for regular decision?</p>
<p>In your opinion, should I apply early decision or retake SATs?</p>
<p>Do colleges take into consideration what little resources I have at my school?</p>
<p>What possible schools can I get into with my stats?</p>

also, i posted this in another forum but didnt know there was a chance forum so i'm trying to get more advice. is the PHYSICS SAT2 hard? in terms of content, does it require a lot of memorization? cause right now i'm prepping for it, and it seems ridicously hard for me [ i had a 96 avg in physics lat year]. thanks again</p>
