I am currently an 11th grader living in the vicinity of SBU (Three Villages, NY) and am looking to apply there. Please chance me based on my far-from-complete profile below:

Asian Male, Korean Citizen residing in US (soon-to-be permanent resident)
First in family to attend college in US
Transferred between High Schools before 11th grade (MD → NY)

GPA: Expecting 103-105 W (max is 108)
Expecting to have taken 14-15 APs by end of HS (MV Calc is given AP credit)
SAT: 1540, ACT: 35
SAT II: Math II 800, US History 740

ECs: Mediocre, wasn’t able to take any leadership positions due to my relocation before 11th grade
Summer Lab Shadowing/Internship at neurobiology lab in summer of 9th grade
~170 Volunteer Hours at Retirement Community and Hydrocephalus Association
HOSA, Math Team, Science Olympiad, Quiz Bowl (No Leadership positions yet)
Student Gov’t (since I transferred)
Cross Country (10th grade Only)
More miscellaneous but relatively ‘insignificant’ activities not mentioned
I have also applied for several summer medical research programs but have yet to hear from any of them.

Many smaller local level STEM awards
AP Scholar with Honor (so far)
NMS Semifinalist Hopeful (PSAT: 1480, Index 221, NY cutoffs fluctuate between 220 and 221)
LOR/Essay: Not yet applicable

Major: Double major in Neuroscience and Applied Mathematics/Statistics
