Chance me for strong finance / business universities

Yep, I think Bentley is a good one for consideration!

False. The 3.8 requirement can be weighted GPA.

  • Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale in high school. We will use the highest GPA that is sent to IU Admissions from your official high school transcript. In most cases this is the weighted GPA.

Oops. I missed that.

Iā€™m wondering if Bryant in Rhode Island would be a super safety?

I did think about Bryant, but wasnā€™t sure if it would feel ā€œprestigiousā€ enough for OP.

I think Bryant is too much of a safety . . .

My son majored in finance at SMU and ended up at a super selective investment bank, so I second @AustenNut 's suggestion of SMU.

Doesnā€™t Kelley use the weighted GPA? Itā€™s been a few years since my son applied, so Iā€™m not sure.

My D24 has SMU on her target list. Sheā€™s actually excited to visit and has similar stats to OP. Her ECā€™s arent as good as OP but her grades are near the top (#3 in her class).

Does this mean Iā€™ll be guaranteed to IU Kelley no matter what?

@cinnamon1212 I see, Iā€™ll probably also add SMU, Iā€™ve heard a lot of good things about it

According to their website, assuming that your school transcriptā€™s GPA says 4.2, you appy in time, and IU doesnt change their direct auto admit policy. Im not sure if there are any other criteria so you should double check with the school and your GC.

Sorry! I missed the weighted part with Kelley!

Yep, my transcript GPA is 4.2

Not sure of Muslim population and if these were mentioned but U of Denver is very solid in finance. My daughters bf has a finance major and no shortage of great intern opportunities. Also Miami of Ohio.

If youā€™re good with GMU then youā€™re good. Indiana too as of your transcript shows the 4.2 you mentioned.
