Hey guys i just finished my junior year and i starting to think about colleges. I attend New Hyde Park Memorial High School on Long Island, it is a blue ribbon school of excellence and is ranked about 70th in New York and is under 500 in all of America; i know that isnt great or anything but at least it is better than most.

Schools to chance me for:
Binghamton, Fordham.

Sorry to have scared you. Low match is a near-safety; I often use the term low match to designate a school choice where admission is likely but there’s still some room for rejection.

Very good chance for Binghamton. Fordham as well. Binghamton is my alma mater and a nice university. Pre-Med is not its forte but you can guide yourself well.

So guys i got deferred to reg decision, but alot of ppl from my school with worse stats than me got in. I think i had a solid essay but idk it could be anything. Do you think i still have a good chance for regular?

You should have a good chance for regular as long the regular pool isn’t too competitive. Though, I believe you should have been admitted through EA. I find it odd that they deferred you unless it was something else other than GPA and test scores.

I know this is an old post, but OP did you get in? I’m interested in Bing and looking at your resume holistically I don’t understand why you were deferred :/
