I applied ED and I am anxiously awaiting my decision.
Major: Broadcast + Digital Journalism

Stats:

Rank: 9 out of 100
SAT: 1280 (640 and 640)
GPA: 94 unweighted and around 99 weighted.
Essay: Decent / Shows some journalistic qualities

Activities:

  • Manage (head life guard) at local pool
  • Lifeguard for 3 years
  • Student Council President
  • Writing for school newspaper.
  • Science Olympiad
  • National Honor Society
  • 5 on APUSH exam

note: I got into Ithaca with a presidential scholarship

Should I be worried about my SAT? for Newhouse? Also, on my transcript, some regents scores were low. Trigonometry was 75 and chem was 79. I wonder if that is a problem.

Also had a decent interview. I think it went well, not too sure. It didn’t go bad. I am also male. Idk if that makes a difference.
