I am applying to Syracuse ED and I am very nervous considering this is the only school I really want to go to.
please chance me!

ECs: volunteer at rehabilitation center since 9th grade . I go 3 times a week for 1 hour and sing an play guitar for residents . (not an alcohol/drug center)

great letters of Rec, 1 from my AP art teacher who is a cuse alumni and 4 other letters from teachers and the head of the volunteer center.

I’m not sure about your chances but I do know that 4 extra letters of rec is a little much, you should contact admissions and see if they would take those.

vulpe, two of them are required from teachers and the third is a counselor rec which I believe is also required. 4th is from lady who ran volunteer center and just for syracuse I have a special letter from an alumni who is also my art teacher and the letter is great. should I call and ask? I’d be very upset if the alumni letter was tossed

buffalogirl- I applied to newhouse but I am 100% positive I am getting denie from there so I put down arts and sciences as school number 2 in case (which i will) get denied from my #1z so hopefully I have a better shot at that.

Good luck! I have similar stats and I’m applying ED to Newhouse too and I know I’m not getting in so VPA communications is my second choice. My interview is next week. Since you’re applying ED you have a good chance getting in especially to arts and science
