<p>Hi! I am applying to TAMU for the fall 2015 semester here are some of my stats. I am really stressed about this whole application process because most review applicants dont hear back until March. A applied early November and I am submitting my essays today (November 12).</p>

<p>Took the November 8th SAT and i am confident that i improved tremendously due to an SAT class. Here are the scores I am preditcing to recieve:
600 writing
670 Reading
780 Math
Composite 2050</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars
Track- 4 years competitive
Basketball- 3 years competitve
Physics Club- senior year
NJHS- freshman and sophmore years
Worked as a sales assosciate at NIKE for 3 months @ 20 hours a week
NO community service hours</p>

<p>Started my own eBay business selling more than $10000 worth of shoes. Wrote my essay over overcoming obsticles on this topic.
Wrote an essay over my interest and education in the stock market and what influenced it. I manage $10000 worth of stocks for my parents.
These 2 essays are fantastic (imo) I had trouble writing the one of interacting with different cultures but i belive it is still above average</p>

<p>Would 2 good letters of reccomendation improve my chances?</p>

<p>I spoke with an admissions counselor and he told me that me being in the 41% of my class would hurt me a little but I still had a chance. However, like all university employees, they wont tell you what they think your chances are. Hopefully i can get some feedback from some current students at TAMU or people in simalar situations at other selective schools. I have recieved automatic admission to UT Dallas but I wasnt too impressed with the campus. If there are any other schools you guys can reccomend that would be great!</p>

<p>You’re class rank might hurt you a little, but the eBay thing is something worth emphasizing. I can certainly imagine you getting in.</p>

<p>If you’re SAT improves as much as you think then I would say its a match. I took the SAT in January and didn’t get the scores I wanted, hoping for about the same as you for the November 8th one!</p>
