Texas A&M Dwight Look: Reach (most engineering admits that are not top-10% have 1300+ CR+M/30+ or better)

Texas A&M - low reach. Just because I know at A&M, Engineering is HUGE there and it’s a hard major to compete in. Is your GPA weighted or unweighted?

Mine please?: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1567285-chance-transfer.html

Not as much a reach as you might think. The line SAT is not at the level some are mentioning, but is not way off the deep end. Row seven will override that since its close.

If your essay is an attention grabber, its a match imo.

Low reach

Bump score up at least 100 points

My gpa is weighted.

TAMU is notoriously hard to get into for non auto admits. Get 30/1300 and you’re fine (auto). Still might not get into engineering.

does anyone know when I might hear back from tamu?

Hey i have another question? If I get accepted to A&M but not the engineering school, what route can I take to eventually get into the school later on? And what are my chances of getting admitted into just the university?

it’ll be harder but im thinking low reach
