I've wanted to go to this school from the very beginning. I'm originally from France -- and moved to Houston, Texas when I was 5 years old. I go to an extremely rigorous college preparatory school. At my school, you are allowed to take a max of 4 AP classes a year. Every year, I have taken 1 AP class. My stats are as follows:

GPA: 3.5/4.0
SAT: 1990 (darn)
JV XC
JV Track
Varsity Swimming/Diving
Varsity Water Polo
Eagle Scout Bronze Palms
World Conservation Award
And a bunch of other stuff that I'd have to think about to remember haha.

Please chance me, also, AUP isn't that hard to get into, but I will be applying for financial aid. Does financial aid affect admission in any way? Thanks.

AUP is very bad for financial aid and indeed it affects admissions - pretty much anyone with a 2.5 and enough money can get in, whereas someone with excellent stats but high financial need may not.
HOWEVER if you kept your French fluent (or at least good enough for AP - fluency in French is a factor so the higher the better) you can apply to Sciences Po, which is a highly selective college (under 10% selectivity)… except for bilingual/bilcultural kids which can apply through the International Application system (30-40% admits). Tuition is about $15,000, I don’t know about financial aid. You apply to the French/American campus in Reims (city about 45mn from Paris), spend 2 years there with French and American students, classes half in French half in English (you have French as a foreign language classes since only basic French is required), etc.
