Essays, Recommendations
1. Essays are pretty good. Nicely reflects my interest in economics. It was revised by several school teachers who have PhDs in writing, education, etc.
2. I am virtually friends with my counselor.
3. My English teacher who wrote one of my recommendation letters thinks very highly of me.
How high are my chances for Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or Stanford? Please be honest.

0 because you can’t get 2391.
This is low quality bait/■■■■■ post. Your username is Wakowski yet you claim to be South Korean. Nice m8

Wow. It’s an uphill battle for everyone but I think you’ve got an insanely good shot at each of them.

Assuming your stats are true, haha. I skimmed your objectives and assumed it was a typo.

2391?? What?

Guys guys the 9 points came from writing, so his real SAT score is 2382

I’m not sure if an online high school is counted as rigorous as any practically any school, so that will hurt you a lot

This is a ■■■■■.

Perfect gpa

Sorry, there are just not enough hours in a day for anyone to do all of those things. You are a ■■■■■.

If you submit that to HYPS admissions they will reject you because they will not believe you did all of those things.

Unfortunately I have to agree with @Much2learn that this post does seem a little weird.

I do Stanford OHSx myself and know almost every single South Korean in there because of my close relationship of the director of the problem and my long term commitment there. You don’t look like any of my friends in there, and I’m fairly certain that if you’re such a high achiever, I would’ve remembered you very clearly, especially when you play music yourself and I’m a professional musician.

But then, ASSUMING that all you claimed was true, I’m thinking of wait-list for most of the Ivies.
Yes you have almost perfect scores and stuff, but you don’t have a special quality shown from your diversified dedication of EC. I see you have Economics, sports, music, debate all over, but you’re not special enough where admission officers will remember you as a person who’s good at ‘something’, because I’m pretty sure all students applying to the Ivies have all rounded achievements. That said, they might wonder if you will ‘contribute to the community’ or not.

If you’ve been to Harvard and Yale competition, go for them then. It might be of some use to you.

(Chance me back :))

My username is wakowski because my favorite movie character is Mike Wazowski, and because wazowski wasn’t available. 0913 is just a random number. I’m technically Korean and American because I was born in America, but lived in Korea my entire life. I also counted macro and micro as one AP subject. And yes, I do have a perfect GPA, so please don’t generalize based on your grades. I’ve been taking AP courses since 8th grade, and I taught myself quite a few of the subjects, so I would really appreciate it if all the negative comments could stop here. Many people actually have perfect GPAs and manage to fit in even more ECs than I do. Thank you @alafae for giving some USEFUL advice. I definitely need more of a ‘special quality’. Perhaps I don’t know you because you’re taking OHSx, or because I’m not a very active musician. I’m a bit more involved in economics and my non-profit. If that’s not the case, then I hope we could get to know each other. I’ve seen amazing people around me who would be able to write lists of accomplishments that are twice as long as mine, and I’m also pretty sure the Ivies would have seen plenty of people like me. This is not a ■■■■■ post, and if you’re not going to help, then at least refrain from negative comments.

Okay, if you did all of those things, then I think you will get into most of the Ivies, assuming that you can craft essays well. Take your time, and do a number of drafts.
