What do you guys think my chances are for:
Harvard
Yale
Princeton
UPenn (Wharton)
NYU (Stern)
Georgetown (Walsh)
Stanford
UC Berkeley

I'm looking to major in History/Economics. Any tips/comments/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Are you applying as an international student?

Yes i would think so.

Are you coming from a school that sends many applicants to these schools?

As an Asian intnl, your chances at HYPSW, even if you up your scores to 2300, are slim. This is the absolute most competitive pool there is and those schools take the very wealthy and connected from Asia first, and then the kids with significant national level honors.

Stern, Berkeley and maybe Georgetown will be reasonable shots with a 2150. Stern will want to see a 720 math minimum though.

If you’re counting on a US college, I’d extend the list.

I agree with hmom5. Unless you have some impressive hook or absolutely amazing essays, your chances at this point are small. If you raise your SAT section scores to 700s (or at least all past 650) your chances will be much better.
