So I got my ACT score, and here are the results:

English: 23 (I was too cocky, I got a 27 last time, this time I took too much time)
Math: 29
Reading: 32
Science: 25

Essay: 9 (out of 12)
Combined Essay + English: 24

I feel fantastic about my essay score, I got a 7 last time, and I believe every single person in my High School got an 8. I know someone who got a 35 composite, and an 8. Its so biased haha, but I'm happy with my 9. English, whoa. Wakeup call, this time I didn't study for it, and now I know what I have to do. Math went up, reading went up, science didn't budge.

School I want to get into: U of Minnesota TC, college of Biology.

Is this a good act score? Gpa is 3.6-3.7, school doesn't rank, very few volunteer hours (25 a year), but I have played basketball, JV Tennis, frisbee, and I'm a part of many clubs (no positions though). Chance me?

Thank You

According to this [Academic Profile](Academic Profile of Fall 2022 Admitted Freshman Applicants by College | Office of Admissions) your stats seem a little low for CBS but pretty good for CLA. I’m not sure how stats based admissions are though.

So do I have a good chance for the CBS? It’s my dream school.

depends on how good of a gpa your 3.6-3.7 is. in any case you’re probably on the border line.

decent chance, but not for sure in

That just makes me all the more anxious… Any more opinions?

Oh and I forgot to add 27 ACT composite

I’d say you have an okay chance! Really not for sure… Considering your ACT score is ~3 points lower than CBS’s average. I have a friend with a 26 ACT and a ~3.5 gpa and she was waitlisted from CBS but accepted to CLA, so it’s kind of up in the air. I’m hoping to get in with a 29 & a 3.8 =/ Good luck!! :)
