<p>W GPA is not very strong at all for UVa. Don’t know if UVa doesnt look at freshman yr grades. If they don’t you have a much higher chance.</p>

<p>Get your SAT up too. I’d say your very borderline for IS</p>

<p>I would say you’re good. They are looking to diversify as much as possible within their 2/3 instate applicants. Being president of the MSA, working with the Asian Student Association, and being as worldy as possible (MUN) will be a huge factor going for you. Make sure, however, that you don’t just write your position. There are plenty of inactive MSAs/ASAs. Use numbers to show that you’ve done something - increased membership by X %, funding by X %, activities, etc. </p>
