SAT's: 2200
SAT II's: US History 750 Biology 750 Spanish 800
I Am Latino/Hispanic
Have many community service hours in Brazil and other South American countries
i know this is vague info but just from a general overview, what are my chances of:

University of Michigan- Ann Arbor
NYU
Stanford(lol)
University of Illinois - Urbana
UC Berkeley
UCLA

UMich- High Match
NYU- Reach
Stanford- like you said lol
Illinois- Match
Berkeley_ Reach
UCLA- Low Reach

Umich- match

NYU- Reach (low gpa)

Stanford- out of reach, lol

UIUC- match

UCLA- I’d say Low reach due to GPA (i may be wrong, but I thought the UC’s were very picky about GPA.)

Berkeley- Reach

You could possibly nullify the low GPA if you have a valid reason; in an essay.

bump bump /////

U Mich: High Match

NYU: Reach

Stanford: High Reach

UIUC: Match

UCLA: Reach

Just adding to this, what is a good amount of volunteer hours to have???
And if you start your own charity, on how big of a scale does it have to be for colleges to really see it as something “big”??

bump bump

Michigan: High Match
NYU: High Match/Reach
Stanford: High Reach
UIUC: Match
Berkeley: Reach
UCLA: Reach/High Match

I’m assuming you’re a junior if you’re asking this now, so try to get your GPA up throughout the end of this year and the beginning of next year – colleges like to see upward trends!

Please chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1488286-chance-me-vanderbilt-wake-forest-harvard-chapel-hill-emory-cornell-umiami.html

I’d just like to point out that, based on what I’ve seen in admission trends among the UCs, especially UCLA, a higher GPA gives you a much better chance than high test scores.

Umich- match

NYU- Reach (low gpa)

Stanfor- lol

UIUC- match

UCLA- match

Berkeley- Reach

your hispanic background will DEFINITELY help you get into colleges.

I replied to your other thread. Don’t put your hope too high on UMich. Your GPA is way too low even if you take all AP classes. Only 6% admitted students at UMich has GPA below 3.25. Of that 6%, most would be spectacular in certain kind of sports. You probably should focus on those schools that value less on GPA.

Your GPA is way low, but I think you Hispanic background helps with Berkeley, you have a good shot.
