Sigh...I really want to go to NYU but I'm not sure I'm qualified. Stern is my dream but I am realistic haha. I am applying ED1.

So, I really messed up my freshman year...my GPA was 3.0 unweighted
Since then, I have continuously being working harder and my GPA has gone up to around a 3.6ish my Junior year. In my senior year, I currently have around a 3.85, as well.

So overall GPA: 3.35 with the upwards trend.

I am a Dutch citizen so hopefully that helps due to NYU's big international statistics.

SAT CR: 630
SAT MATH: 710
SAT Writing: 670
Overal: 2010

My grades earlier in my high school career prevented me from taking challenges classes. So in my senior year, I will take AP World, AP Econ, Honors Spanish, Honors Model UN, Honors Marketing, Honors Management, and Honors US II.

-I've been on the tennis team for all three years (captain of JV)
-I went to DECA Nationals and placed 4th in the State Conference.
-I did the Stock Market Club in my Junior year and I'm continuing to do it my Senior year.
-I was treasurer for my Mock Trial Club but I quit after sophomore year because I realized -I didn't want to study law.
-I work at a swim club and teach tennis in the summer and I have worked in the Netherlands at my grandfather's pizzeria.
-I take Dutch lessons with my parents for an hour a week and I used to take Italian lessons outside of school.
-I practice tennis for around 6 hours each week (more during the tennis season, obviously)
-I also play bass guitar and I take lessons once a week.

I have recommendations from 2 teachers and my tennis coach. All these letters are glowingly positive. I also had an interview with a Stern professor who said he will write me a letter of recommendation for NYU.

I'm also looking at Villanova, Babson, Fordham, Northeastern, Drexel, and and UMiami, so if you have any opinion about any of those, I would love to know!
