I'm thinking of applying to Princeton, Yale, Stanford, and Columbia through the Questbridge College Match process (hoping that I become a finalist.)
I know my scores aren't impressive at all, but is there any chance at all or should I start looking at other schools through Questbridge?

your EC’s make me jealous, your sports and other clubs and some of your awards are pretty amazing. That will definitely help you.
Your grades are good too, nothing to say there
The only thing really is your test scores, they fall in the lower part of thos Ivies.
I say you actually have a pretty good chance, those with good leadership and activities have really good chances regardless of tests

btw, i can’t tell, but are you good enough in any sports to get a sports scholarship?

Thank you.
And I might because I’ve been thinking about joining a very competitive swim team called Swim Pasadena–but I don’t know if I’ll be able to in the end because it’s a lot of money.
Other than that, probably not. Not many recruits from my school.

There were lots and lots of kids here this year who did not get a Questbridge match. If you’re counting on one, I think you need to choose realistic matches.

Even as a URM, your scores are going to make the schools you list very difficult. I can’t remember all of their schools but Trinity sounds like it might be worth putting on your list.

Thank you.
Anyone else?

Something that might be held against you is that your school very clearly inflates grades. (3’s on APs/ that SAT score do not translate to a 4.8; I’m sorry). I would look at other schools too… Trinity is a good suggestion

Ohh, snap. 4.8 is way too high. I know this won’t help (because I believe my school does grade inflation also), but it’s a W 4.4.
Thank you. How about Williams or Wesleyan?

Williams and Wesleyan are more realistic.

I think you’re bound to get into one Ivy, but have some back ups. You’re still in the same range as the accepted scores for ivies so you’re not doing that bad, and if you nail the ACT you can send that in too. I think Wesleyan would be a strong fall back.
