<p>Rensselaer is going to be a reach. For class of 2014 average SAT was 1363/1600 and 2000/2400. Also 66% were in top 10% of high school class. I do think you will get into VaTech though.</p>
<p>It’s not even funny how many people are applying to VaTech this year… LOL. But I see you getting in! Write really good essays (: VTECH doesn’t do recs right? yea… anyways… if all my admissions fail… vtech is my backup… and I guess I’ll see you there! Best of luck!</p>
<p>I plan on retaking my SAT so maybe RPI will be more reasonable. Who knows though haha.</p>
<p>Neurosurgery - Yeah, i know tons of people applying to Tech! The past two years, most of the graduating seniors in my school have gone to Virginia Tech. Maybe we’ll see if both of us end up there haha. I wanna go there because of the engineering program.</p>
<p>This is such a small world, we might even be in the same school district lol. Anyways, I wouldn’t worry about VA Tech, JMU, GMU. I can not really say anything about Boston University. You are in the top 20% of your class and the IB Diploma would give you a boost from others of similar stats for RPI. Having 4 HL subjects instead of the regular 3 shows that you have taken a step above the minimum requirements of the IB Program.</p>
