Chance me for these schools, Please!

Schools: (asterisk means I have visited or am visiting before applying)

Emory University*
Brown University*
Washington University in St. Louis

Background: I am a white male, attend boarding school, and come from an upper-middle class family.

Currently a rising senior

I will be applying ED to Northwestern

My school’s grading scale is on a 7 scale, and my junior year GPA was 6.41. This translates roughly into the 4 scale as a 3.95, although our school reports GPA to colleges on the 7 scale. The 3.95 is just for your reference.

Our school does not do class rankings, due to its competitive nature.

My first ACT (with no prep work) was a 32
My second ACT (with prep work) was a 33
My latest ACT was 34 (yay!)
I took the Chemistry and Math II tests in June as well. Since I have not taken AP Chem yet, that score was trash (690) so I’ll take it again in the fall. My Math II was 780, which apparently is only in the 80s for percentile… not sure how that works. I guess I have to get an 800.

Our school offers very few APs to non-seniors, and even fewer to underclassmen. This is due to the rigorous coursework associated with an AP class.

APs taken: Biology
APs Senior Year: Calculus BC, Physics C Mechanics/E&M, German, Economics, Chemistry

Extra Curriculars: Varsity Soccer Goalie, Student Ambassador (Tour guide), President of Model United Nations, President of Film Club, Physics/Math Tutor, Dorm Prefect (Similar to an RA for college)

I am also an Eagle Scout

I have great recommendations from my teachers

I have held 2 summer jobs: Pharmacy Technician at a local independent Pharmacy (3 summers)
Internship at Website Developing Firm (this summer)

My intended major is some type of engineering, and I might go to Medical School afterwards

Any feedback would help, thanks!

Northwestern is highly plausible for you; I had a close friend with similar stats who got into northwestern ED. their ED acceptance rate is a lot higher than their RD acceptance rate. Message me if you would like to know his stats. He’s also a white male with a similar standardized test score (he took SAT, not ACT)
