I know it's hard to tell now, but in the direction I'm going, I'd love to be chanced for these schools:
- UCLA
- UC Berkley
- Cornell
- Stanford
- MIT
- Columbia
- UPenn
- UChicago

Thank you very much! :) Is there anything I can improve upon? ECs, Hook?

These are difficult schools to get into especially the ivies, UCLA is in reach. Be sure you have some safeties. GPA and scores are very good, keep it up, be sure to take rigorous classes. As for ECs try and be part of leadership for those organizations, but don’t overdo it and do them just to do them. Be passionate about them, and build up those clubs. You could also capitalize on web designing that is decently unique and interesting. It could be your hook. Try and get internships where you could use that skill. Fortunately you have lots of time to do this. What matters most is for you to be unique in the eyes of college admissions officers. Good luck!

You need to take more challenging classes for sure… Definitely more AP level. Use 6.0 classes to boost up your rank a bit!

I mean unless Gym is a requirement, try not to take it because it’s really not even a ‘class’.

Also, please be more specific in your EC’s because they do not show any depth and real commitment.

I’m not sure about UC schools, but they’re probably within reach…

The big, top tier schools, however, from what I’ve seen are darn near impossible for you. Cornell, Stanford, MIT, Columbia, UPenn, and UChicago are ALL very HIGH reaches. I’ve known people with very impressive stats not get accepted into these schools.

I’d also say try to work on something that would differentiate you from other candidates or at least make you look more impressive, as Madisonian1123 mentioned above.

BUT on the bright side, you’re still a freshman, and you have plenty much more HS to go through - use this time wisely!
