Chance me for tomorrow

Hi, I applied ED to Columbia, but I haven't had a sense of how good of a chance I had. Tomorrow's the day, and I'm at the edge right now. Look me over and tell me my chances please?

Also spent a month (3 hrs a day, 3 days a week), volunteering at a local hospital in 2013, and a month (5 hours a day, 4 days a week) in 2014 at a nursing home

Awards: Honor roll, National Merit Semifinalist, AP scholar
Recs: AP Euro- smartest teacher I've ever had, he really like me, should be solid
Spanish- Also likes me, should also be very solid
Guidance Counselor: whenever I spoke with her she always spoke highly of me, encouraged me to apply to Columbia
CA Essay: so I was somewhat worried about this. I actually rewrote this the night of, so I didn't have too much time to edit it. I wrote about my move from Mexico to the states and how I adjusted. Sounds cliche, but I made it unique and "humbling" according to my English major sister, who liked it, so there's that
Columbia supplements: didn't really know what to do about the lists, whether I should expand on each individual thing, so I just listed.
Why Columbia: Talked about how, as a "gadfly" I would contribute to the seminar-style Core, also talked about the diversity of opinions on campus and freedom of expression, talked about the mattress protests and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Thanks for your input, the only one who will listen to my rants now is my dog, and she's getting pretty tired of it too.

I’m really not sure what the point of this is since you’re going to find out tomorrow. I know waiting is hard but you’re almost lmost there so try to relax. Wishing you the best!

I know this waiting is hard! On paper, you look like a very strong candidate…but who knows…there are so many good candidates. i will say that regardless of tomorrow, the right school is going to find you,

A Korean student from Mexico writing about Iranian president? Interesting!

I was meaning to post on here for a while, I just kind of… forgot. Honestly, that tells you more about me than my entire application.

I’d say you have a fairly good shot to get the straight deferral. GL Hustin.
