Thanks in advance for advice!

Barnard, Amherst- Target
Cornell- Target/Low Reach
Dartmouth/UChicago- depends on your essay and interview. Can go either way. Reach

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417488-chance-cmu-jhu-nyu-umich-cwru.html

Honestly, I think your only reach might be Dartmouth. As long as your essays are good (especially for Chicago) you should be fine for all of the others. An URM with stats/rankings like yours should have absolutely no problem getting into most of those schools.

Don’t need to chance me back, I’m only waiting on one school and I’m okay with waiting (I’ve already sent in my app), I don’t want to stress out too much :(

@afrojack Good luck! I wish I would have started earlier.

anyone else: any more chances? what about my other listed schools?

bumpppppppppp

You have good chances at all the colleges on your list.

Thanks! Do you think I’m being “safe” enough with my safeties? The only ones where I think I have a high chance are Tech, Bryn Mawr, Drexel, and Hofstra

I think you’re automatic ins at your safeties for sure. A great shot at all your other schools. Chance me back please?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417129-chance-me-i-will-chance-you-back-immedietely-2.html#post15057542

I sure hope so…

Any other opinions (for schools specifically)???

Yeah, I started all of my essays toward the beginning of summer and had them done and ready to go way before the deadlines. Looking back, I’m actually not sure how I found the motivation to do that…

I’m being nowhere near as productive in terms of scholarship essays :(

Cornell and UChicago: low reaches
Dartmouth: reach
You’re in at the rest of them.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1417569-where-would-you-apply-if-you-were-me.html

chance me backkkkk?

bump10char

I think you are in a good position. You should be fine except obv some of the top 10 will be reaches because they always are to everyone.

Can you chance me?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1418022-chance-top-50-schools.html

bummmmpppppp

I think you have a good shot at Cornell and Chicago, just make sure you write great essays. Dartmouth is a reach for everyone, just try to stand out. For the others I think you are probably in. Good luck!

Chance me back?

Umm… zero extra curricular activities?

@midas I listed at least 8 of them, and I know they aren’t extremely strong but I have leadership positions…

Amherst: Low Match
U Of C: You have a chance
Dartmouth: Same as U of C
Cornell: Same as above
Barnard: Low match
You’ll get into all the school listed in the “others” group

Chance me

Is “low match” close to reach or close to safety?
