<p>Perhaps you’d have a shot at NYU ED, as they’re a bit more numbers based than others and look at ECs slightly less (more on that later). However, one thing to note about NYU: their financial aid is horrible. They will not meet all of your financial need. Unless you can afford it, you will have to take out massive loans, which may or may not be worth it to you. </p>
<p>Anyway, back to the ECs. Sports are great, and they definitely take a lot of time, but other than that, I don’t see anything else that stands out. FYI, honor societies really aren’t ECs, and don’t impress admissions officers, especially at this caliber of school. </p>
<p>My advice to you would be to retake the SAT and aim for around 2200 (this can be superscored). Or try out the ACT and go for a 33+. This will make you more competitive, although the ECs will still drag you down a bit.</p>
