Chance me for Top Colleges (Will Chance Back)

Your matches most probably be accepted:)

Bumping.

You categorized all the schools correctly. I think you’ll get into at least a couple of the reaches. UChicago becomes less reachy if you write killer essays from what I’ve heard.

.

Best of Luck and great job in high school!

Thanks for the help and good luck to you too. @yikesyikesyikes.

Bumping~

Bumpity bump.

@Skyrio‌
I just don’t feel like I know enough about your ECs to give a valid evaluation. They seem really intricate and complicated on the surface, but I don’t really know if my impressions are correct because I just don’t know much about what each activity entails (i.e. the internship with the “big firm” and the activities with “Game Theory.”)

Either way, I don’t think that my evaluation/prediction would add too much because you’re clearly a qualified candidate.

However, I think that you should consider adding GW and Cornell to your list because they seem to fit what you want in a college experience.

Best of luck!

@frostyy‌ I appreciate the honesty. Best of luck to you too!

Bumping for the friend.

Claremont McKenna College-WL/Accept
Rice-WL/Accept

Matches:
Boston College-Accept

NYU-Accept (to Stern)

Safeties:
U of Miami-Accept
Rutgers U (in State)-Accept
Florida Institute of Tech-Accept

@kaarboer‌ Thank you! Any more advice?

Well, just remember that it’s a crapshoot at the top level. Your stats are good enough to get you noticed, but your essays need to be spectacular. So… write those essays well!

You should probably retake your SAT’s to get Reading and Writing 700+ or not since you ACT is really good.

Reaches:
Stanford - I think you have a pretty good shot, you seem very Stanford
Princeton - I don’t know, they’re admissions are really fickle
UPenn (Wharton or M&T) - You could probably get in
M.I.T - You might get in if the research pans out
UChicago - Based off of what you posted it doesn’t seem like a great fit for you, but you could probably get in.

Matches:
Claremont McKenna College - No clue
Boston College - I have a lot of strong connections to this university and based off of what you posted and what I know about it, BC doesn’t seem like a great fit for you. However, I think it is VERY unlikely that you aren’t admitted.
Boston University - Yep
UCB - No clue
Rice U - Might be tougher since you don’t live in Texas or the south, but probably
NYU - Probably
U of Miami - Yep

Safeties:
Rutgers U (in State) - Definitely
Florida Institute of Tech - Definitely

@nac93420‌ Thanks for the comments! I really appreciate it. Is BC really religious?

What’s wrong with UChicago? Thanks again.

Is Northwestern a good addition?
I’m trying to look for a small school with a top notch education, located on the suburbs or in a great city and where I can get good jobs and internships when I graduate.

Skyrio needs the advice, guys.

I think your reaches are pretty accurate. You should consider Harvey Mudd college if interested in engineering also. Your extra-curricular’s are strong but the GPA and test scores sort of lower your chances. However, since you are a foreign student, your chances are pretty solid for UCB, Boston University, NYU, etc…
