I would ask @GoBears2023 in his(her?) summer programs thread.

I can say you’ll likely get into SSP.

Thank you for the response! How would you rank SSP, Simons, HSHSP, and BU RISE in terms of difficulty of admission? I don’t really care for the affect it has on college applications, but rather want some competitive research with other talented students.

Sorry for the late response. I’ve been caught up in finals and don’t check CC too often anymore. For clarification, I go by he. Anyways, here’s my ranking from most difficult to least difficult:

SSP - 4% acceptance rate, slightly below RSI but if you get in, you’re gonna end up in a T10
HSHSP / Simons - Both are about 6-7% acceptance rate. Simons is slightly more based on how your school nominates you.
BU Rise - 10%-11%

@GoBears2023 Thanks for the responses! Would it be smart of me to look for others programs as well or do I have a good enough shot at these ones? I’ve done most of my RSI Essays, and will use little bits and pieces from those (along with new writing of course) to formulate my other program submissions.

Depends a lot on your SAT ngl @descrex . Everything else looks good! I would say you have a shot just like everyone else. Youre going to get into at least one program as long as your SAT score is 1500+

@GoBears2023 hey, could you pm me?

@descrex your stats look amazing! i think that you have a p good shot at BU RISE, HSHSP, and SSP. the others (RSI and TASP) are kinda difficult to chance bc they rely so heavily on your essays
