Northwestern

No need to take the 3 off...it's not like the AP scores matter hugely in admissions. Your test scores are very good. Your ECs however, while very good, don't stand out hugely. If you could elaborate on the Science Research you've done, and it's pretty good, that could be lots of bonus points.

I'd say all your choices are reaches (they are for nearly everybody). You should pick some matches and safety schools :)

i dont think duke or northwestern are reaches..but you do need some safeties

doubt HYPSM, but decent chance at CalTech if instate.

Oh yea I have like safeties but I thought I would probably get into them so i didnt put them down...

but science research-I was a Siemens Regional Finalist and it was about cancer drugs

do you guys serious think USNCO,USABO, and Siemens Regional Finalist arent that big of a deal? I got 3rd Regional Team in Siemens...and to be honest when i got it i thought it would be considered a hook...

yea i probalby dont need to take it off but just in case, all i have to do is ask to take it off, im not going to take it off of collegeboard just my school thing...

I think people are underestimating your olympiad stuff. That will definitely help w/ Caltech and MIT. With a little luck, you're in at one of them.

oh yea i do have other awards like NMSF (dont think cutoff is going to be 230) and National AP scholar (by start of senior year) and other things but I didnt think they would be important for top colleges because everyone has them...ya i probalby dont have an EC that stands out but I try to make all my ECs go with what I want to do, as I want to do something in science/medicine

In at MIT and Caltech EAs barring something strange

RD is a >60% chance

"Your ECs however, while very good, don't stand out hugely." Uh....***?

Your ECs are amazing. You'll be fine. In at Caltech most probably.

Ya I agree with Jamesford. Maybe people don't know what USNCO/USABO qualifier means...because its pretty much indication that youre in the top 500 in the nation of both bio and chem (actually I think there are around 800 who take USNCO, but close enough :P).

Good chances at MIT/Caltech EA.

Yeah I'm not entirely familiar with those. That definitely improves your chances for MIT and CalTech
