I mean your stats are obviously incredible. I feel like it would probably come down to the essay for a school like Yale. You’re more than qualified but you need to show them how you would add to the school
I’d say you have great chances at these schools

Amazing scores, wonderful ECs, good personality. Yale, I don’t know, but your personality seems like a great fit for Chicago/Columbia. You have a good chance at everything, no worries, but it doesn’t seem like you’re worrying anyway. Good luck!

Your Stats are all amazing and you have taken a lot of APs already and done very well. I imagine that you will get into most of these schools as your ECs are excellent as well. I would say that the main thing that would have you either admitted or not would be your essays.

ASIAN Power

Ftw!
I am so excited for the day when China takes over the world, seriously. Can. not. wait! ![]()
Thank you everybody for your great input, I really really appreciate it and will chance you back if you leave me a link ![]()
And in the meantime, the polka dotted god of fuzzy fire bunnies wishes you all luck in applying to colleges :)

nice grades/sat
ur ec’s will boost ur chances, esp the crew
if u early decision to yale im 75% sure u will get in

I’d say you’re in everywhere but hyps where you will get into about half. Yale will prbly be one of those if you apply scea. Great stats!

yeah, as most people have already pointed out, your resume/application is pretty much as good as it can get.
Just write good essays, don’t do anything stupid (cheat, get arrested, go on a binge and screw over senior grades), and you should be fine, imo

Wow, that is some very impressive stuff. You are as qualified for the top schools as it gets. Apply early to yale, and hedge your bets by applying to plenty of other top schools.

Harvard - Reach
Yale - Reach
Stanford - Reach
Upenn - Mid-Reach
Columbia - Mid Reach
Northwestern - in
UC Berkley - In
University of Chicago - In, depends on essays
USC - In
Princeton - Reach

Guys stop kidding yourselves.
WHarton has a LOWER ACCEPTANCE rate than Harvard.

So if you put “low reach/match” for Wharton, you have to put IN for Harvard.

No way around it. Wharton Acceptance rates are lower than harvard… look it up. Wharton is the MOST competitive undergrad institution within an institution.
Except HPME (50 accept out of thousands of applicant).

Yale: Reach - apply SCEA if you can
Harvard: Reach
Stanford: Reach
UPenn: Low Reach
Columbia: Low Reach
Northwestern: Match
UC Berkeley: In
University of Chicago: Match/In
USC (with a full scholarship?): In, good chance at full ride
Princeton: Low Reach - they’ll dig your scores

Of course, your reaches will be reaches to anyone. You have a good shot at all of these schools regardless!

already plenty of ppl chanced u but ill chance u anyways.
u have a great chance of getting in i think. u have good test scores and solid EC’s.
But u know the Ivy admissions. they are random. but i hope u get in.

Wow, you’re practically set. Your experience in debate will surely impress admissions on paper and face to face in person.
Yale: Mid Reach
Harvard: Reach
Stanford: Mid Reach
UPenn: Low Reach
Columbia: Low Reach
Northwestern: Match
UC Berkeley: In
University of Chicago: In
USC : In
Princeton: Low Reach

you’re the kind of applicant that makes me crap my pants and think dammit im not getting in anywhere. in other words, dont worry about it, you’ll definitely get into at least one of your top choices

chance a fellow yale lover? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/738291-oh-sat-math-how-i-loathe-thee-chances-sat-right-brainer.html

Good academics, great scores, awesome ECs, just keep it up and worry about your essays. I’d say you’re within reach for most of them, though some can be pretty unpredictable. They need to see that you’re passionate and “their school material.”

You’re definitely qualified to go to any of those (grades, SATs, ECs, etc.), but HYPS are reaches for ANYONE. Your chances of getting into at least one of those look great. All the others are probably mid-reaches (penn, columbia), matches (northwester, uchicago) or probably ins (everything else).

My inner girliness?? excuse me?? lol. I just tried to get attention hahahaha. but ur stats look incredible. I’m scared to go up against you… (i suck at standardized tests…
). Of course, ivies are all reaches, but they vary low/mid reaches. Northwestern i would say is a match. UCB and USC u are in. UChicago I say match. You ever consider Stanford?

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate everybody taking the time to chance me, haha ![]()
Hopefully the more optimistic predictions will prevail, lol
Good luck again to everyone who’s applying this year and actually decided to prevent brain rotting this summer by doing productive college stuffs! (Haha sort of…yeah…not really… ^^)

Harvard= chance
Stanford= likely
UPenn= idk
Columbia= chance
Northwestern= in
UC Berkeley= most likely (if cal resident)
University of Chicago= in
USC (with a full scholarship?)= dunno about scholarship but most likely
Princeton= chance

You are very qualified for any of these universities. You just need a little luck.

High reach at all the Ivies – probably in at USC, Northwestern, and University of Chicago. I only say high reach because noone can be sure about getting into the Ivies especially when one is Asian.

I strongly recommend that you do early decision to Yale to improve your chances.

Chance me back if you can –
