SCORES:
GPA: 4.2 weighted and 3.85 unweighted
SAT's: 2240 (790 writing, 750 math, and 700 critical reading)

EXTRACURRICULARS:
- Founded a club at my school. We help connect senior citizens with students in our grade.

- Varsity tennis since sophomore year, JV freshman
- Played my viola in Carnegie Hall as a sophomore, going to DC to play next year. I'm in all states this year and hope to be again next year

SCHOOLS:
UMichigan
UWisconsin
Ohio State
UMiami
UVirginia
UMaryland (Legacy)
Penn State
UCLA
UTexas at Austin

I really want to go to a public college to have the full college experience with football games, parties, etc. and that is why my list is all public schools.

I will chance back if you leave the link down below :)

You’re good for all of them with numbers like that. I don’t know enough about the schools though to say which are matches and safeties. UCLA is the toughest one on your list in my opinion, but your SAT score and GPA are fabulous, and the UCs really look hard at those things.

Thank you so much :)

OSU: safety
UMI: Match

I am confident that you will be accepted to each of those schools… the hardest one would be UVA if you are OOS (I’d call that a high match).

Please chance me!

Thanks for all of your responses!

Your stats and EC are awesome! You have a good chance at all of your schools, the only significant reach I see is UCLA.

Chance me please!

thank you  anyone else?

You are definitely good for Ohio State. Sadly, that is the only school I can accurately judge on.

UMichigan-high match
UWisconsin-match/safety
Ohio State-safety
UMiami-safety
UVirginia-low reach
UMaryland (Legacy)-safety
Penn State-safety
UCLA-low reach
UTexas at Austin-match

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1589963-chance-me-bowdoin-ed2-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

bummmmpppppp

Michigan and UVA are high matches for you considering your ECs aren’t in excess. The rest are matches.

Chance back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1593754-chances-umass-amherst.html</a></p>

You’re set for all of them but UVA, Michigan, and UCLA, and all those are mid to high matches. Your EC’s are great so you should have no trouble with most of them. Chance my last post please!

The Carnegie Hall is nice as a hook. You’re probably going to get into a good school which wants violist. Look out for them!

You can probably consider all of the schools you listed at most High Match. Consider UCB as well (if you still have time to apply).

You seem like a solid applicant to me, and your stats are nice as well. Probably a typical “textbook admit” to me.

Would you please take a minute or two to give some suggestions to my essay topics?

bumpppppppp

All of them are matches and UCLA and UVA are high matches if OOS
chance back please

all are match
but ucla might be reach

chance me back
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1621256-change-me-into-mit-asu-michigan-state-etc-i-will-chance-back.html#latest</a></p>

You might want to take SAT II’s if you’re seriously interested in University of Miami as they really like to see those. Chance back :Dhttp://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1620688-on-track-for-university-of-florida.html#latest

Test scores are great but your ECs are lacking. For UCLA and UMichigan they are seeking leadership along with good scores. I would seek more opportunities to volunteer and hold good leadership positions. Also you might want to include AP scores and Subject test scores for better analysis but chance me back
