Thinking of Applying to:
-Stanford
-Wash U
-Notre Dame
-Tufts
-Brown
-Penn
-Duke
-UNC Chapel Hill
-Carleton (soccer recruit but idk if that will matter)
-UChicago
-Middlebury
- Other schools that I know I'll get into

Thank you very much, I'll chance back.

high match for most
top universities can’t really know for sure
should try uc la or Berkeley
I think chapel hill is a low match though

All schools are matches for you besides Brown, Duke, UChicago and UNC Chapel Hill, all of which are reaches for most people. Your GPA, ECs and SATs are great. Not to mention that you play soccer. Any college would be lucky to have you :)

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Thank you!

Stanford: Reach
Penn: Reach
Brown: Reach
Duke: Reach
UChicago: Reach
UNC: Match
All the rest are high matches in my opinion

Chance me back!http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1594319-do-i-have-shot-bu-gwu.html</a></p>

I agree with Ravens18. Aside from the very top echelon, you stand a really good chance of acceptance at many of those schools. Congrats! However, with the deadlines quickly approaching, I would suggest narrowing down your field of potential schools if you haven’t started all those applications in order to alleviate some of the stress. Stanford and U of Chicago have extensive writing supplements. Make sure you really emphasize your athletics since they obviously play a very big role in your life. Congratulations on being Teacher 1’s best student ever, as well! Good luck with the application process! Chance me back?

Thank you, I chanced back!

Great list of schools, Stanford, Duke, UPenn, UChicago are the hardest to get into. Might look at some top LAC’s like Bowdoin or Holy Cross. WITH THOSE STATS, might get good financial aid package from Holy Cross which has JAN15th APPLICATION DUE DATE.

U of Chicago, Duke, UPenn, and Stanford are reaches, but that isn’t to say you shouldn’t apply! The rest are schools I think you have a good chance of getting into. Good luck!

Dude, I’m sure you will be fine. Call me crazy, but I bet you have a good chance at most of these colleges… And doesn’t Stanford superscore the ACT? Because if I’m correct in assuming so, that will for sure be to your benefit!

Wow! your athletics part of this is absolutely fantastic. The ONLY thing I see that could possibly be an issue is not having leadership positions in academic clubs. But I honestly think you will get into most of these although Stanford’s really weird with their decisions.
Good Luck!!!

Did you not do Early decisions for any of these?

EC strength is a relative matter. Compared to the pool of outstanding applicants to your reaches, yours will not stand out very much. Stanford will not admit you just because your grades/scores are good, like some have suggested. So I don’t see you as more likely than the average applicant without more info.

-Stanford: high reach
-Wash U: reach
-Notre Dame: low reach
-Tufts: low reach
-Brown: reach
-Penn: reach
-Duke: reach
-UNC Chapel Hill: low reach, as OOS
-Carleton (soccer recruit but idk if that will matter): not familiar with recruits :stuck_out_tongue:
-UChicago: reach
-Middlebury: low reach

 • Other schools that I know I’ll get into: safety

This is not to say that you can’t do well. You are not underqualified by any means.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1593927-chance-me-few-ill-chance-back.html</a> if you could!

Stanford-Reach because it is among the most selective colleges period. That being said you are very competitive.
-Wash U-Match
-Notre Dame-Low match
-Tufts-low match
-Brown- low reach
-Penn-low reach
-Duke-low reach
-UNC Chapel Hill-safety if in state
-Carleton (soccer recruit but idk if that will matter)-know nothing about this college
-UChicago- honestly have no idea Chi town is such a crapshoot
-Middlebury-know nothing about this college

Good luck  id confidently say you will be accepted into a top 20 college

Thanks for the feedback! And I applied RD for all of them

Let me commend you…you have done an outstanding job of selecting/applying to combination of top universities to LACs (with varying admission standards) covering both coasts and the midwest…you are very sophisticated (far beyond most students/parents) in your approach to college admissions process…bravo!

…congratulations on U of M…

…wish you best of luck in getting into some of your reach schools!

Thank you! I wish I could apply to all of those schools, but I won’t be able to because they cost $75-90 each. I’ll still apply to most of them though

I think with your scores all of those schools are well within your reach except for Brown… I think you are a little too main stream for them, they tend to favor more artistic and offbeat applicants… also Penn would have been a fair reach for you, but you didn’t do early decision, which to me severely weakens your chances… otherwise, I feel confident you could gain acceptance to those institutions:)

chance me back maybe please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1596657-chances-nyu-specifically-steinhardt.html</a> :)

If anyone is wondering how it went…
Rejected by Stanford, Duke & Tufts, waitlisted by Wash U and Carleton, and accepted by Notre Dame and my safeties. Notre Dame’s financial aid offer was not very good, so I’m deciding between them, St. Olaf, and U of MN right now. I hope you all got in to your schools!
