Medicine: HOSA is a medical club. I was President junior year and helped organize and lead blood drive in the school. I also competed and won first place for two events at the State level, and was a finalist at the National level. Also researched at a local university and entered in competitions like Siemens.

Computers: Helps people out with their HTML/java work. Volunteers to help young girls code. Did some internships at companies during the summer.

Athletics: three-sport athlete who’s earned Varsity letters in two. Getting some college attention for basketball, probably at a D2 level.

Volunteering: steadily volunteering at my library past three years, and various volunteer projects throughout the school.

Please chance me guys! Thanks so much! Also, any recommendations for me on what else I can do to improve my stats?

Make sure you can pay $60K+/year for UC Berkeley since they offer no FA and little merit aid to OOS students. You are a competitive applicant but still consider UCB a Reach. If recruited for Basketball then that changes things.

Best of luck.

Stanford: Reject, UW GPA is low even though weighted is good not sure if it will make up for it. Also low SAT IIs. Almost any hindrance in your application makes it tough for Stanford, Also still apply, these are just predictions. I can’t guarantee that you will get rejected but this is just from prior knowledge.

UChicago: Depends on your essays. UChicago seems like a very essay dependent school, people from my school have gotten in with light schedules and alright stats with outstanding essays. Make sure your essays are really good and you will have a pretty good shot.

Berkeley: Accept, but like Gumbymom says make sure you are able to pay for it

Yale: Reject, same reasons as Stanford

Johns Hopkins: Waitlist, not 100 percent sure on this one you seem pretty average for their school which may either benefit or hurt you.

Duke: Waitlist, Same as JHU although I think it would be more likely to get into JHU than Duke

UW Madison: Accept, no question in my mind. I would assume this is more of a safety.

Also these are just predictions what I think doesn’t mean that will be the actual result
