Princeton (top choice)
Dartmouth
Lehigh
Columbia
JHU
Wash U in St. Louis
U Chicago
Boston College
Harvard (forced by parents)
U Penn
Cornell
Seton Hall (safety)

You have a solid chance at all those schools excluding Lehigh, Seton Hall, and Boston College.

might look at holy cross-very good in the science fields. holy cross has strong chemistry department and probably gives better finacial aid than boston college and lehigh. the holy cross website also details internships for students interested in science. holy cross would be better option than bc and lehigh.

Great rank, just OK SAT with a weakness in CR, ORM from OR state- you will need to win ivies over with your essays and recs in a big way. You look great for the rest with Chicago and WashU being reaches.

Wait, how do I have a lesser chance at Lehigh, Seton Hall and BC?

holy cross has several alums who are ceo’s of big medical/pharm. companies and hc has january 15th application due date.

I have had bad experiences with religious schools so I don’t think holy cross would be a good match lol

So could anyone tell me which of these would be reaches, matches, and safeties?

I would really like to get some more feedback. I am on the fence of whether I should include more safeties.

You only have the one safety though I’d be surprised if you didn’t get into Lehigh and you have a strong shot at JHU and BC.

BTW Boston College is a religious college just like Holy Cross. Both HC and BC are run by the Jesuits, an order of Catholic priests. Seton Hall is also a Catholic college.

Ivies and JHU are mid to high reacher because they students of your caliber very often and reject most of them. You’re in to the other colleges, and probably in or deferred to one of the ivies or jhu.

The thing about safeties is that you have to know you’d be okay there. There’s no point applying to a school that you know you’re not going to want to go to.
And if I were you, I wouldn’t worry too much. Those stats look amazing to me. Just work on those essays. And good luck!
