Hi everyone. I am pretty concerned with my current situation right now. Because I just got my GPA which is only 2.75. I know it seems impossible to transfer to Chapman. I want to go to Dodge for film production. I have several film projects and work experience in studio. I also studies summer film program in NYU... Can everybody give me some advice? Now I am studying the second year in a 4-year college and I don't like my major at all. I dont know how to go for my next step.. Thanks!

You should apply but your GPA may get in your way. I would suggest you apply to film schools that a lower GPA might not be as much of a setback. One suggestion is Columiba College Chicago. The school was listed in the Hollywood Reporter as one of the best film schools in the country. It is not cheap so you should make sure you can afford it. University of North Carolina School of the Arts is another school with a strong film program that may not look at stats as much as Chapman and the usual suspects. Cal State Northridge might be another option as well as Cal Arts.
