Chance me for transfer? Should I try for next fall or wait another year?

Hello again, everyone.

I would ideally like to apply this fall and start USC next fall, but I wonder if I should do that or if I should wait another year. First of all, here are my hard stats:

High school - class of 2010
Graduated in top 2% of my class
UW GPA - 3.85
W GPA - 4.5
Took 5 AP classes out of 10 offered
AP English Literature sophomore year - 5 on test
AP English Language junior year - 5 on test
AP US History junior year - 5 on test
AP US Government senior year - 5 on test
AP Macroeconomics senior year - 4 on test
SAT score (single sitting): 800 W, 740 CR, 600 M
SAT II: Literature - 730, US History - 710
EC's - Writing (lots of writing, 200+ pages of a novel, ~20 TV scripts, poems, song lyrics, etc), filmmaking and acting (acted in two indie films and tried my hand at different roles on set like cinematographer, editing, etc), tutoring (tutored students in English, SAT, and college admissions), wrote for school newspaper.

Biodiversity (G.E. course)
Hans Christian Andersen (upper division)

Took one class P/NP (Biodiversity) and got a P

Withdrew from UCLA after winter quarter. Since then, I have been working and have not attended any other college classes since. I've done freelance copywriting for various businesses, been acting in another indie film, tutoring, and recently got into the educational field as a teaching assistant. Currently I'm an after-school aide and also tutoring. I want to go back to college to pursue a career in teaching.

I'm planning to complete a semester of community college this coming spring so I can fulfill USC's requirements of taking two English composition courses before enrolling (if I was accepted for fall).

What do you guys think of my chances? Do I have enough of a chance to get accepted for fall even though I only have 2 quarters of college completed right now (with one more semester soon to be in progress)? Or would it be in my best interest to take another semester or 2 and apply -next- fall?

Thanks for any advice.

The best - most well informed answer you’ll ever get to the “chance me” question.
