Chance me for transfer

I am a white male Georgia resident who currently goes to the University of South Carolina, and I plan to be a biology major at Tech.

First semester (16 Hours):
Psychology 101 (A)
Chemistry 111 General Chemistry I
Chemistry 111L Lab
English 101 (A)
Computer Science 102 Intro to Web Design
University 101 Freshman Seminar

Second Semester (18 Hours) (Predicated Grades):
Chemistry 112 General Chemistry II
Chemistry 112L Lab
Biology 102 Biological Principals II
Biology 102L Lab
Statistics 201 Elementary Statistics
Math 142 Calculus II
English 102 (A, small chance of B)

I got credit for Calculus I from both USC and Tech through AP credit. I am pretty sure I will meet all of the transfer requirements to be able to transfer for fall 2015. The only thing that is concerning me is my hours. 34 hours is not a lot compared to the average 55 transfer hours. Is this a big deal that I should be concerned about?
Thanks!

I was a transfer student that just finished his first semester at Tech. What about physics? I can’t remember, but I thought PHY 1 was required to transfer in. I may be wrong. I came in with Phy 1, but I just took Phy 2 at tech. I would recommend taking Phy 2 at Tech like I did. It is not too hard, but you have to be on your game. It is a good prep for the increase in rigor. I am sure others would disagree with me though.

Your grades are good. You should have the update on your grades this semester.

I don’t know about how competitive Bio is, but it seems you would stand a better chance with more GPA hours, but it can’t hurt to give it a shot right?

It would really help to know your GPA. I don’t want to calculate it based on the info you gave me. But you are gonna need a 3.7 probably.
