Chance me for transfer at:

Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Pomona, Bowdoin, Amherst

renix- all the schools you have listed accept very few transfers, example, Bowdoin which may be the least selective of this mega selective list, only took 3 of 200 transfer applicants this year.

However - there are many excellent schools that would be interested in taking you as a transfer student. What are you looking for in a school - size, major, etc

I've already gotten my results...just wondered what other people's guesses were. But yeah Bowdoin was harsh this year.

So - were you accepted some where?

hmm I dont know :)

Okay...yes. I'm also on a waitlist.

Don't cheat!

Oh yeah, I'm white and not rich. No legacy. Non-athlete.

your GPA and SAT scores are pretty low. i'd say your chances are very slim. to what school were you admitted? those were all extremely competitive places to gain admission into. good luck hearing back from others.

Cornell CALS?

You're kidding right? I was rejected from Cornell CALS with a 2250 SAT 700/800/800 SAT IIs.

Well, he did say he was accepted to one of the schools and waitlisted at another. And since he mentioned that Bowdoin admissions was harsh this year, I decided to guess Cornell CALS due to their 50 percent acceptance rate.

where in the world is that info listed? i applied as a transfer with incomplete prereqs...but still...

I'll say accepted at Dartmouth--they don't get many applicants from western Kansas.
But if they look at the SATs hard, then you'd have trouble getting in.

http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000156.pdf

The incomplete prerequisites was likely the reason for your rejection.

AEM is considerably more selective than any other major within CALS, which is the program I applied to

I applied to Cornell CAS and got rejected. Also rejected by the rest.

Waitlisted at Amherst (they took 11 I think)

Accepted to Brown.

Proof that stats aren't everything. Obviously my application looked, and is, much better than what you saw but in general it is accurate. For instance, there is plenty of outside learning I did. I've started programming when I was 13, etc.
