Chance me for transferring to NYU

Hi everyone! I am currently going into my sophomore year at Penn State in the College of Information Sciences and Technology, and I am interested in transferring into NYU for a BS in information Systems for my Junior Year (fall 2017). If anyone can chance me it will be greatly appreciated.

GPA After Freshman Year at PSU: 3.25 (Planning on getting this higher since I still have a semester before applying)
SAT: 1850
Involved with several clubs and other extracurriculars on campus
Have family members who graduated from NYU

Your college GPA is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the average GPA NYU accepts. I don’t think just one semester would make more of a different. I would not worry about SATs because NYU does not require SAT scores for transfers. You also need to get more involved with more extra curriculars. Maybe get an internship or two. I’m also wanting to transfer into NYU. I’m coming from a community college. What are your plans to pay off the NYU tuition because I’ve been told by many so far that NYU is way too expensive and that I’ll have to take out loans.
