I am a international student applying to Trinity for Regular Decision. I have done O-Levels and have achieved 2A* 3A and 3Bs. I am currently doing A-Level with predicted 3A*, my current GPA is 4.0. I am waiting for my ACT score and expecting at least 28 and hoping for a 31. I have sufficient extra curricular activities under my belt. What are my chances at Trinity.

I am too from Pakistan and I have also applied in trinity college. Your stats are pretty much like me. I hope we get in! US admissions are so unpredictable.

My stats are:

7 As and 3 A’s in O-levels
1 A and 2 A’s in AS levels
SAT 1- 2030
SAT subject tests- 2310 (Phy, chem and math 2)
TOEFL- taking on 12th jan
Good essays and recommendations
Okayish EC’s and some more achievements

Btw which major at trinity college are you intending to take on?

Man you have greater chance than me in view of your SAT scores because I have a 27 on ACT which is almost like a 1950. On the other hand we are in the same boat. Which school are you from and which city?

whether we like it or not, applying for financial aid DOES lower chances of admission. The good news, however, is that the amount of our need doesnt really matter ;D (at least that’s what the college officialy says)

Um, Trinity did give me an ID and password so I can check my application status. You guys should ask if you haven’t received anything.

Good news is, you guys are Asian. Asians are the smartest people of the world and lots of colleges around the world want Asian people. Not only because their amazing intelligence but also because of their culture. Your culture is so hidden and unknown that people will like to know more about you. I hope you guys get in.

In my case, my chances are VERY low. I applied for FA (my need is like 80% of the cost of attendance). I also applied late (I applied on January/15th) and my stats aren’t good as yours:

GPA: 3.8 (4.0 in senior year)
SAT: 2000
TOEFL: 101
150+ community service
And I’m a latino. Americans hate latinos lol.

Anyways, good luck guys! Hope we all can get in Trinity.
