I think you’re ok for Trinity but some of the others would be reaches unless you raise your SAT’s. The floor is littered with 2400’s who didn’t get into an Ivy League school. Best of luck!

No offense meant to Bossf51, but that’s ridiculous ^^.
Your SAT scores are absolutely phenomenal, and no school is “littered” with 2400’s; perfect scores are very rare, even in Ivies. I would be shocked if you weren’t accepted to Trinity. Your grades are great as well. But did I read a score of 100 on the toefl?

AG if you read my post carefully, you will note that I said he was good to go for Trinity. If you take a few minutes to look at any of the Ivy League decision threads you will see many kids with 2400’s that didn’t get accepted.

Here are a couple from this year’s Harvard thread.

Decision: Rejected
Don’t feel like posting much right now
Objective:

SAT I (breakdown): 2400 (first sitting)

SAT II: 2360

AP (place score in parenthesis): 55
IB (place score in parenthesis):

There are many but more you get the picture. I hope

seems like harvard is not a place for perfect scorers :-|

You are all ridiculous! Instead ask how many no perfect or even below 2300 scores the Ivies accept. The scores are way over the mean for Trinity and one poster says " your good" for Trinity. Why not just look at the common data set and Princeton review and not bother with having others on CC chance you. Most are way off and know nothing regarding chances!

2250 is not a sure thing at ivys. Probably not a hyps. Good Nescac or egghead 8 is more likely

It’s hard to know for sure, but I would say based on Trinity’s statistics, you’d be an ideal candidate! Best of luck!!

Man those are some SAT you must apply to MIT, CALTECH, Yale etc you are bound to be accepted by one of those goodluck

if you had a higher toefl score you would have better chances at an ivy

You can get in to a much better school than Trinity. I would certainly try for Richmond or Holy Cross.

Digger- I don’t know if you have visited Trinity or educated yourself about what the school has to offer, but I wouldn’t be so quick to write it off. It is a vibrant campus with an highly regarded, committed faculty, many leading sports teams, a large internship program which places students all over Hartford (the state capitol of CT.), outstanding study abroad programs, excellent record of job and grad school placement, a beautiful campus, and a very and especially loyal alumni base. Unless you have spent time at this magical place, be careful about dismissing it so cavalierly.

Besides- while I freely admit that I have never visited Richmond and know very little about it, practically everyone I know from the Northeast (and I can think of four or five students) have transferred after a year.
