You only have one SAT subject test, while most of those schools require two or three…Since you want to get into engineering, I would suggest taking the Math 1 or 2.

Yeah, I’ve taken Math 2 (And English, U.S. History for that matter) and I’m taking Physics in October

Your list is very similar to mine.
I applied to Chicago, Penn, Columbia, Northwestern, Georgetown, Vanderbilt and Rice.

I think I had batter numbers than yours. (2380 SAT, 35ACT, 800-800-780 and 3.96UWGPA)

I think my ECs were more unique than yours. But, you were a state champion in FBLA. So, I think we are about even in EC department.

I took very rigorous courses from one of those extremely competitive high schools.

My GC’s assessment when I applied to those colleges.
- Reach: Penn, Columbia and Chicago
- Good Chances: Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Rice
- I do not remember what my GC told me about Georgetown.

Actual Results:
- Rejected: Columbia
- Waitlisted: Penn
- Accepted: Chicago, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, Northwestern, Rice

You be the judge. Good luck to you with Chicago!
U Chicago was one of my top colleges.

My unweighted GPA is actually 3.882. How bad is that?

Couldn’t do better than averby and 20more. You’ve got some good responses.
About the U of C, there are no engineering or business courses, if these are areas that interest you. There are no undergraduate “programs” per se, apart from majors. There are core courses, much like at Columbia, although there they offer engineering, which I think is a bit easier to get in to than the College.
Northwestern tends to be more professional and pre-professional oriented in its programs and the students it attracts.
Good luck.

New Subject Test scores

US History 780
Math Level 2 760
Literature 750

Should I retake Math for an 800?

bump for informations

Was accept to Vandy and waitlisted at Rice and Cornell with similar stats.

For UPenn, how competitive am I for the Huntsman program?

Huntsman is extremely selective and you aren’t particularly competitive.
