Submitted the application 3-4 days ago and did preferred admit. I know it's really late but do you guys think I even have a chance for U Mich? What about Ross preferred? Thanks a lot!

I submitted the application and SAT scores 3-4 days ago. My transcript and SSR was sent yesterday. I guarantee that they haven’t made a decision yet rofl.

Also, if I don’t get in preferred, is it still worth applying while in LSA? What do they look at differently when you apply during freshmen year? Just grades?

Thanks, I really hope I do get in to Ross. Deferral from ED Cornell AEM was pretty disappointing and I heard Ross Preadmit is just as hard to get into.

Yeah, Ross is a strong target for firms and it’s great and well known. That’s why I wanna get it :P. Is it harder to get in pre-admit or freshmen year? What sort of GPA do I need freshmen year if I’m not admitted to preadmit to be competitive for regular Ross applicants?

Since you are out of state…your chances are not very high
your SAT score is not very strong, and your number of AP’s aren’t strong.
EC’s don’t look bad tho.
The fact that you submitted your app so late is probably gonna cost you a lot more than it would for someone in-state with your stats. In addition to the fact that getting into UM is much harder for out of state appliers.
Your chances for Umich aren’t really high, and your chance for Ross is less.

Hey I got into both LSA and Ross so I’ll do my best to chance.

Well, I tend to disagree with some of the people that posted. Your SAT score is strong enough to get into LSA. Ross? I’ve seen people do it.
Your application late will make the wait longer and harder to say the least. Your EC’s may be enough to push away anything that may be looked at as “weak.”

I think an LSA wish can come your way. Ross? Eh…they’re unpredictable.

Ps, Do you play any sports? Michigan LOVES sports.

I do have to say that I AM In-State so my view might be a little bit different, but GOOD LUCK! Let us know if you get good news :)

my decision was released a month after i submitted my app (11/1). the last materials received date was 11/16. i think i got a decision pretty early, but yea.
