<p>I'm a high school senior in one of the top 100 schools in US. An Asian with a creative bent of mind. learned art from a great art school. have an online portfolio of my paintings.
My stats:</p>

<p>unwieghted GPA: 3.6
weighted GPA: 3.87 (my councelor says she will explain this as I had to move from India in the middle of 11th grade.)
SAT: 2050 (combined)
SAT Math and CR: 1370
ACT: results awaited
Current APs: 6 (Physics, Math AB calc, Eco,world History, Eng lit, Psychology). hons: Studio Art
got a 4 in AP US history in junior year.</p>

<p>I'm also into poetry and writing. </p>

<p>Scholarship is not top priority.</p>

<p>Also look into Northeastern (awesome engineering program) and your scores fall within the range.</p>

<p>The University of Michigan is going to be a low reach since you’re a non-resident in addition to a below average GPA and SAT.</p>

<p>^ Agree. It should be a low reach for LSA and reach for CoE because of oos and low GPA. SAT is at or below (for CoE) 25% too.</p>

<p>^ It does. That would make you a high match for LSA but still a low reach for CoE. Mid50 ACT is 31-34 for CoE and 29-33 for LSA.</p>
