Asian-American/Upper-Middle Class, Attend a public school ranked pretty high in Michigan/country

School has about a 40 percent acceptance rate with U of M. On the Naviance graph, I am somewhere in the middle.

GPA (UW): 3.66
GPA(W): 3.98

EC:
-Have a BUNCH of music awards with two instruments.
-Lots of volunteer hours at hospital and other charities (Organized multiple shoe/clothing drives at middle school and other places)
-Clubs: Robotics/NHS
-I do tutoring with kids in Detroit.
-Worked at a medical office
-non paid research assistant for 2 summers at a local university.
-Shadowed different Doctors (Not sure if this matters)
-Earned my black belt
-Did two summer programs at U of M (Not sure if this matters)

I don’t have a lot of EC’s. However, I put a lot of effort into the one’s mentioned. With that into account, how much will my low EC’s/GPA hold me back. Do I even have a chance at U of M?

What courses have you taken? IB program is a little bit too vague.

@BreBre235 History, math, chem, English,Spanish, bio and TOK. So basically all my courses are IB besides electives.

If I were a guessing man, I would guess you will get in. 33 ACT is good for Michigan, and your ECs look good. Really work on your essay and you should be set…

But, as you know, it’s a weird system. So even if I, some random dude on the internet, thinks you’re more likely to get in than not, you have a chance of not getting in
