<p>Major: Psychology
College American River college in sacramento
UC GPA: 3.82 (hopefully 3.84 by the fall of 10')
Applying to: UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Davis
Prereqs: All but one which will be done by the spring of 11'
IGETC: Will be done by the fall of 10'
TAG/TAP: UC Davis TAG</p>

<p>EC's:
1. Volunteer at a adult day care center, helped Alzheimer patients with mental exercises like playing board games, helping them do art work, assisted the physical therapist in leading exercises with patients with all kinds of mental difficiencies, assisted in walking and physical therapy with patients who were basically almost bedridden or wheelchair ridden.
2. Volunteer at a hospice. Helped families especially if their loved one has passed away from an emotional standpoint. Worked with the patients to help them cope with their lives especially for those who still are in denial that they will eventually pass away.<br>
3. General and Social Psychology tutor in the summer of 08'. Chemistry tutor during the spring of 09' led beacon tutoring in an integrated organic/biochem class. Helped out fellow students mentally raise their grades from failing to passing grades.
4. Filipino club member on campus </p>

<p>Essays: Will start on them soon, will state the above ec's and how it changed my life, how it relates to the major that I am studying for.</p>

you have great ECs! and i think you have a really great chance esp if you milk your essays and get a 4.0 this fall. like 70% in</p>

<p>I already started on my essays, rough drafts that is. Im taking it easy this semester 12 “easy” semester units at my CC.</p>

<p>I had literally almost the exact same EC’s and a slightly lower GPA and got into UCLA psych. (Applied to Berkeley phil). You’re in at all 3 as long as you have your prereqs done or in progress.</p>

<p>i only have physical anthro to do.</p>

<p>If you’re doing it this semester, that’s perfect. If next semester, your chances might be slightly lower…I only say that because UCLA/UCB psych is really competitive.</p>
