Bump, any reply would be appreciated

I knew a couple of seniors last year with similar stats who go in to all three give and take one. Just do good on the essays and you’ll be in one of the three

You are a solid candidate at ALL, including UCB. Your EC’s are a little thin, but your GPA and test scores are outstanding. Good luck.

^ i agree. Two of my sister’s friends got accepted (and went) to Berkeley instate and did so because of their strong essays. They both needed strong essays due to their lacking in other stats. Your stats are great, so with a good essay - you are in.

but make sure to emphasize your passion more. you don’t necessarily need 2000 EC’s, but make sure your EC’s coincide with your passion. (i.e. mock trial –> if you want to be a lawyer)

Thank you all very much, I’ve been stressing about this for a long while now, and now I feel quite a bit better.

I certainly will do everything i can to make my essays outstanding, thanks again!

no problem

confidence will serve you well in moderation

Just curious, but how did you get a 2 in AP US History?

You definitely have a good chance.

Saugus: It was equal parts lack of preparation and the test being rather difficult last year. Many other students in my class got similar scores :/.

And well, History has never been one of my strong subjects.
