You sound like you have a really solid application! Your CR score is a little low, but with your ECs and other stats, I don’t see it being a problem. I think your essay sounds really interesting too, so that will definitely help you stand out among a huge application pool. Have you done anything more with ballroom dance than just taking lessons and participating in classes? Highlighting that in an application will maybe help you stand out and appear as a more diverse applicant as ballroom dancing isn’t particularly common in a high school student. Either way I think you have a great application! Good luck!

Thanks! I actually wrote my second essay about a ballroom dancing competition I was in.

Pretty solid application IMO. Perhaps your CR score is a bit low but I don’t think it’s going to affect your chances greatly. You have pretty stellar ECs as well, as well as an interesting essay topic. Therefore, I’d say you have a 75%-ISH chance (Berkeley can be unpredictable)

I’d appreciate if you could chance me back

Are you ELC eligible?

If so, you are a solid match. If not, a higher match but still a match. Your CR score is fine, my son got into Cal Engineering (this year) with a 660 CR score (2220 single sitting).
