Chance me for UC Berkeley?

<p>Hi Everyone! I know that it's difficult to give an exact answer but I'd still like to know if I even have a chance at Cal (dream school!!!). I don't know what major yet but I might end up going for chemistry, bioengineering, or undecided.</p>

<p>Objective Stuff:
GPA: 3.8 (UC Unweighted) 4.38 (UC Weighted)
Rank: 6 of 192 (based on HS GPA of 4.29)
SAT: 2120 (will retake in october, hoping for 2200+) 600 CR 740 M 780 W
ACT: 33
SAT II's: 790 Bio M 740 Chem (will take Math 2 in November)
AP's Taken (with scores): Bio (5) Chem(5) Calc AB (5) Stats(4) APUSH (4)
Senior year courseload: AP english lit, AP Calc BC, AP Physics B, AP Macroecon, AP Gov, regular psychology, pe (required)</p>

<p>EC's:
Varsity Swimmer 3 years (will be 4th this year)
Varisty XC runner 2 years (NCS Both years, hopefully state this year)
Tutoring Children at Library soph year
Helping kids read at local Elementary junior year
Junior Lifeguarding from 7th to 10th grade</p>

<p>Other Stuff:
Stanford Internship under Mechanical Engineering Lab Group this summer
ASU Internship under Biomedical Engineer Post-Docs this summer
NHS 2 years, CSF 3 years, Interact Club
Mock Trial 2 years
Student Ambassador</p>

<p>It looks like a High Match/Low Reach! I would suggest working hard this semester to try and boost your GPA and try taking the ACT maybe one more time! good luck and chance me back plz</p>

<p>From your SAT IIs it looks like you want to pursue science? If so, work hard to get a high score on the Math 2 SAT!
Otherwise, your ECs look great. Like Bezan said, if you can bump up your GPA, you’ll be fine!</p>

<p>Don’t think I can bump up UC GPA after junior year right? doesn’t uc only like at soph and junior year grades when calculating gpa</p>
