Chance me for UC, LAC, and national universities

White
Male
California
Average high school, short on funds though so we canceled some AP classes like computer science and students have trouble getting into AP classes.

SAT:
M:760
CR:740
W:590
SAT trial two:
M:710
CR:740
W:640 total 670MC 7 essay ( couldn't finish because I write slow with crappy pencils =( )
SAT II:
660 lit but it had more poetry than usual, crappy test day in general.
Taking in december:
SAT II lit
SAT II biology ( thinking molecular ), currently in AP bio so shouldn't be that big of an issue
SAT II math

GPA: 3.9 UW 4.1W
School does not rank.
Class difficulty: I have taken every academic non-honors course available but I am somewhat lacking with APs and HP classes. By graduation I will have taken 7 AP and 3 honors courses.
My junior year's GPA is a 4.25. I learned the hard way that at my school you need to sign up for 3 more AP classes than you want to take. Our class sizes are reaching 50ish so it's hard to get into classes now.

Senior year:
AP European History A/?
Psychology A/?
AP Economics micro A/?
AP Biology A/?
AP Government ?/?
AP Environmental Science ?/?
Pre-Calc HP ( school wouldn't let me test out of geometry/Alg2 freshmen year lol ) ?/?
Drawing and design ( required to graduate =( ) ?/?
English 12 ( First non-AP/honors english but I can't stand the english teacher that teaches 9th and 12th grade ) ?/?
As you can see I got all A's for the first quarter in senior year so I have a 4.75.

My extracurriculars/miscellaneous :
Top 1% in Folding @ home project ( philanthropic effort to cure diseases by using distributed computing )
President of Computer Science Club
Vice President of Game club ( not really helpful but it shows that I at least am involved with other things outside of school I suppose )
I lift weights ( 200 pounds seated triceps press )
Computer technician worked for pay and for free. Built 10 computers starting in 7th grade from budget to $2,500 workstation.
National honors society.

I have had 100% on every final I've taken and my teachers like me so letters of recommendation should not be a problem.

By the time I graduate I will have taken 3 honors classes and 7 AP classes I don't think this places me near the top, but I think I'm not at the bottom.

TLDR:
4.25GPA junior year, upward swing with 5 APs and 1 honors class being taken senior year.
Note: GPA is a bit lower than usual because of the quarter system ( eg. 6 APs with all As = 4.75GPA ofc )
1500/1600 SAT, 2140 superscored =/
Total W GPA: 4.1
Good letters of rec

The list:

Love:
Grinnell
William and Mary

Like:
Brandeis
Haverford
UCB
UCLA
UCD - safety
Carnegie Mellon - Grind?
Rice - Too little out of state students?
Northwestern
University of Puget sound -safety
UCSD - My dad is a prof here so it might be awkward.

*I think my chances vary wildly depending on whether they consider the writing section of the SAT. If anyone knows which of these schools omit it please pipe up. *
Also on the UC app are A-G courses counted by semester? Since I don't see how someone could take 40 if the norm is 24 (if you didn't take anything but a-g).

What is a seated triceps press?
Also the UC system only accepts 8 honors credits, will this affect your GPA at all?

UCSD-In
UCD-In
UCB-Reach
UCLA-High Match

I have no idea with the other colleges.

The cap on honors credit will not affect my GPA. Thanks for responding!

bump for great justice.

I still would like to know what a seated tricep press is.

It doesn’t really matter, it says tricep press at the gym but it’s hard to find a pic online. The closest machine I found online is:

You sit down and push down really hard lol. I also bench 150 (my bodyweight) which most people have an idea about. I don’t like benching though because you can easily screw up your back or have the weights come down on you ( spotter not pay attention ). I didn’t put this on my UC App but I probably should have. I wonder if there is a way to edit it after submission. Anyway enough talk about weight training. I’m still looking for more chances. Thanks.
