Essays are solid.

UC schools from what I know are very numbers based. Based on your numbers, UC Berkeley is a reach and UCLA a match.

I forget exactly how the UC gpa works but I believe with a UC gpa of 4.3 your somewhere around a 3.9 or something unweighted right? That’s decent enough. You have a reasonable chance for both schools. Just sit tight and see what happens.

Your GPA is very good. Your ECs look pretty good as well. Your ACT and SAT scores may be a bit low, but you still have very good chances. Good luck!

UC Berkeley: Low reach
UCLA: Low reach/high match

Like what @Bailkun‌ said, UC admissions are fairly numbers based. Your GPA is competitive, but test scores are average. Your ECs are good though! If your essays are as good as you claim, then I think you have a fairly good chance at getting accepted to both. Best of luck!

I agree with @attersee above:
UCB: Low Reach
UCLA: Low Reach/High Match

Good Luck.

Oh yeah and subject test scores were
Math 2: 800
Physics: 750

bump
