UCB: Low reach/high match
UCLA: high match
UCD: low match
UCSD: match
UCI: low match
Stanford: high reach (don’t count it because it’s a crapshoot for everyone)
Great rank and good ACT for the UC’s. For LA and Berkeley, your chances really depend on what kind of major you want to do, but from the looks of your EC’s, you probably wanna go something bio-related. Best of luck. I think you can get into a lot of your schools, except Stanford, but as you said, ya never know :)

I don’t believe major matters, but school ( I.e. of engineering) might.

Actually 2013.

thanks so much love! :)

pre-med ! bio major

Major matters a lot. Someone going for religion is not going to have as much competition as someone going for bio. For UC’s, majors matter…

I see. Would that be Letters and Science or is there a School of Theology?

Here is what UCLA says

“Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools reviews applicants for admission. Freshman applicants for the UCLA College of Letters and Science. Freshman applicants to the College of Letters and Science are reviewed without regard for major. Therefore, no Letters and Science major (including Undeclared) is more or less selective than any other. Representatives from all other schools—the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science; the School of the Arts and Architecture; the School of Nursing; and the School of Theater, Film, and Television—further review their respective applicants and admit students by major. The portfolio/audition is the primary consideration in the review of applicants to the School of the Arts and Architecture and the School of Theater, Film, and Television. Applicants to the School of Nursing must submit a supplemental application.”

School of Theology is not mentioned.

I am pretty sure Cal admits by division (College of Letters and Science, College of Engineering, College of Chemistry, College of Natural Resource, College of Environmental Design), and admits by major within the College of Engineering.
