Total Hours ~100), Elementary Summer Academy (Summer of 2014. 90 or so hours of volunteering at an elementary school), 1 year as an teacher's assistant at Chinmaya Mission (Sophomore year. 25 hours.)</p>

<p>Your stats are outstanding, especially 36 on the ACT! Your senior course load looks pretty good, as do your ECs, although they could use some improvement. But then again the UCs only ask for your top five ECs, so that’s great. It all depends on your personal statements really, work hard on them. Show your passion and be yourself, and ask others to proofread. Don’t sound snobbish and don’t brag, because (1) your stats are being shown already and (2) the adcom sure wouldn’t enjoy having you. And make sure you apply for safety schools, scholarships, etc.; you know the deal. Good luck!</p>
